Note: these beverages are in the fridge at our Renfrew dispensary, while our dispensary in Cobden has a limited selection. Check out our Shop Cobden link for what’s in store at our new location.

Cannabis Beverages Low in Sugar

According to diabetic philosophy, looking at the sugar content alone can be deceiving. They recommend looking at the total carbohydrates on the nutrition label to gain a true snapshot of how much glucose is released in our bloodstream once a food or beverage is consumed. Therefore, we’ve included both measurements below for your convenience.

Zero Sugar Cannabis Drinks One section of High Class fridge of cannabis-infused drinks

  1. XMG ALT – Black Cherry Seltzer THC: 10mg. ($7 +tax.) Carbs: 0, Sugar: 0, Calories: 0. Lightly carbonated.

  3. THC Coffee x 2 Pods K-Cup. THC: 10mg. ($11.50 +tax.)
  4. Lavender Chamomile Tea. ($18 +tax.) Each tea bag: 20mg CBD, 10mg CBN, and 2mg THC. Five tea bags.
  5. Soothe CBD Grapefruit by Nuveev. CBD: 25mg, THC: 0. ($7 +tax.) Carbs: 0, Sugar: 0.
  6. Cherry Limeade by Zele Lo Soda*. THC: 10mg. ($7 +tax.) Carbs: 14g, Sugar: 0, Sugar Alcohols: 10g.
  7. Peach Haze by Zele Lo Soda*. THC: 10mg. ($7 +tax.) Carbs: 17g, Sugar: 0, Sugar Alcohols: 10g.

*Two notes for the Zele drinks: First, they are full-spectrum products, meaning they contain more of the cannabis plant (i.e. cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes). Secondly, Zele’s “Lo” drinks listed above use “sugar alcohols” as a sweetener. Sugar alcohols contain fewer calories (1.5 – 3 calories per gram) than sugar (4 calories per gram).

Stay tuned for an upcoming article where we explain in more detail what full-spectrum means in comparison to products that use cannabinoid isolates.
