How to Use a Cannabis Vape Pen

In this 1-minute and 15-second video (above), Sherrill uses a Nutron vape battery with a 510 universal thread, which works on the majority of the industry’s cannabis cartridges.

Note: If you’re new to vaping and want something easy to try out, try a disposable vape pen, which is usually activated by inhalation – so there are no buttons to figure out!

How to Use a Nutron Battery

Step 1. Unscrew the charger and screw on the cannabis vape cartridge to a snug fit (do not screw the cartridge too tightly). 

Step 2. Press the vape pen button FIVE consecutive times to turn it on. The green circle around the button is the lowest heat setting. Press the button another TWO times to get to the next heat setting (blue ring of light). Press the button another TWO times to get to the hottest heat setting (red ring of light).

Note: The higher the temperature setting, the bigger the cloud of smoke your exhalation will produce. However, under hotter heat settings, be aware that the vape product tends to lose flavour and that the cartridges are prone to leak.

Step 3. Once you have your preferred heat setting (green, blue, or red), press and hold the button to take a puff (a.k.a. inhale).

Step 4. For a preheat mode, press the button THREE times in rapid succession. The ring of light will change colours for approximately 10 seconds as it heats up. Once the colours stop, the cartridge should be at the optimal heat for vaping. Hold the button and take your puff.

Step 5. Press the vape pen button again FIVE times in a row to turn it off. We recommend that you turn off the vape pen after every use as it will hold the charge longer and will also help avoid accidental use by curious under-agers.
